Thereis an option in the Apple Watch (settings -> sleep -> turn on at bedtime) which automatically turns on sleep focus. I don’t want this: the Apple. Watch is perfectly capable to turn off my screen when it detects I’m sleeping. My question is because I can’t test this while asleep: will the sleep focus turn on or at least the screen
No I love the look of the Watch with the display off and I love slapping the screen with my palm, it looks and feels like magic. I’ll never use it, hopefully they keep it as an option. I have the SE where it’s not a feature anyway, gladly picked it up to save money and I’m in love with it every day. Novemberx123.

No only a few percentage points from turning it off. not worth disabling a key feature. When I have that enabled, the batteries drain much faster on both my watches. Obviously the series 2 does not have AOD, but the series 5 has AOD enabled. I have experimented with the series 5 with Raise wrist to wake enabled.
InwatchOS 8, Always On expands to include your apps. Apple Watch continues to display your app’s user interface as long as it’s either the frontmost app or running a background session. To preserve battery life, the system updates the user interface at a much lower frequency than when running in the foreground. It also dims the watch.
